Load cells use strain gauges that are attached to a measuring body (load cell). These strain gauges are connected in a (full) wheatstone bridge and give an output signal of 15 to 30 mV at full load, with a displacement of approx. < 0,1 to 0,2 mm (100 to 200 microns).
