How does a fill indicator work?

A filling indicator is a weighing indicator that communicates with a PLC, filling machine, conveyor belt or bunker. The indicator regulates the amount of filling in a container, big bag, crate or box. When the preset weight is reached, the indicator sends a signal to the machine, after which the valve is closed. The product can then no longer flow through the funnel until the filling indicator sends a signal again.

Before you can start filling, select the product you want to fill. It is then important to zero the scale. This can often be done manually or automatically. You can now start the process and start filling.
