Torque meters and torque sensors

Are you looking for a torque transducer, sensor or meter? Then look no further. Dexman torque sensors are the best available on this market. DEXMAN is your partner in every situation where torque measurements need to be performed. From calibration labs to test setups with speeds up to 30.000 rpm. The torque range includes analogue and digital torque meters for reliable and precise torque measurements. This proven range of couplings for the various sensors is also available. So you can buy torque sensors from Dexman. There are two different torque meters, these are non-rotating and rotating versions.

Non-rotating torque sensors

Non-torque sensors (reactive or standstill torque transducers) are used in a wide range of applications. They are wear-free and these torque sensors can withstand a maximum shear force and the axial limit load. As standard, these sensors have an analogue, non-amplified strain gauge bridge output signal mV/V. Optionally, these reactive torque transducers can be provided in a wide temperature range from -30 °C to 120 °C. Typical applications for this type of transducer are, for example, reaction torque measurements on extruders, test bench applications, screwdriver testing, determination of bearing friction torques. Rotating torque sensor

Rotary torque transducers are usually equipped with built-in measuring amplifiers. The possible output signals are analog ± 5V standard ± 10V possibly or digital RS485 or USB. Due to the contactless transmission, the transmitted data is maintenance-free and without signal distortion between rotor and stator. Integrated speed / angle measurement is optional for almost all contactless sensors. Mechanically, our contactless sensors can be divided into 2 parts: sensors with bearings and sensors without bearings. The advantage of bearing-equipped transducers is that bearing friction does not falsify the measurement result and they are usually designed for higher speeds. For digital sensors, we distinguish 2 product groups: sensors with RS485 interfaces or transducers with USB interfaces. RS485 torque sensor is characterized by a particularly high insensitivity to noise, even with very long connection cables. For the display, our USB sensors do not require additional and often expensive and complicated to use measuring amplifiers. Via plug-and-play, the transmitter can be easily connected to a standard PC. For commissioning, only the USB driver, included in the scope of delivery, as well as the configuration and analysis software must be installed on the PC. Typical applications for this type of sensor are for example screw tightening technologies test bench applications such as the treatment of motors, gears, bearings and seals, … where high-speed continuous operation standardized output signals are required on the sensor side. rotating torque transducers
